Van Leeuwen is going full strength for Dealer Expo. “Every year we come to Dealer Expo with the most knowledgeable and experienced sales staff in the industry,” says Van Leeuwen Enterprises sales manager Frank Muro. “We come prepared to walk a new dealer through the early stages of his business as well as service the needs of the biggest power hitters in the industry.”
Just in time for the 2013 show, Van Leeuwen has launched its new, updated business-to-business website. Muro says the site was designed to be user-friendly and was built by assuming the perspective of the dealer. The website includes images for each SKU, and each online order will be reviewed by a sales representative, he says.
Van Leeuwen reportedly will offer closeout prices on full-face and off-road helmets for a little as $20 a unit in addition to rack programs for Progrip, Castrol and Maxima with discounts up to 20 percent off and free shipping.
There will also be 30/60/90 dating terms that can be applied to orders as small as $1,500, with more premium terms available for larger orders, Muro notes.
The company is highlighting Suomy’s MX Jump and MX Tourer. The former is a new lightweight dirtbike lid while the latter is the company’s new dual sport/adventure touring helmet. Another Suomy highlight is the 3logy, which Muro says will reinvent the way people think about street helmets. The helmet can be configured three different ways: an open face design, a full-face lid and a mobile communications center.
Toward the latter half of 2012, HJC introduced its RHPA (Revolutionary Performance Helmet Advantage) lineup of on- and off-road helmets. The series — featuring the RPHA 10, the RPHA Max and the RPHA X — were designed to bridge the gap between the company’s existing products and the selection of premium helmets that are out on the market. The idea was to offer high performance at a good value.
The whole RPHA collection features the company’s premium integrated matrix construction. This is a melange of materials including carbon fiber, aramid, fiberglass and organic non-woven fabric.
What’s new for Olympia Gloves? Company vice president Ed Brodsky says it will be heading into Dealer Expo with a host of new products, upgrades to existing products and a selection of gloves in the expanded sizes of XXL and XXXL. (continued)
