PRODUCTS FOR side-by-sides have been the hot sellers of late; however, now other off-road segments are showing signs of renewal.

According to the Motorcycle Industry Council, ATV retail sales were up 3 percent through September when compared with the same period in 2011. Even dirtbike sales have finally flattened out.

So it’s reasonable to assume the aftermarket is getting healthier. That’s the impression one gets when previewing all the new products slated for the ATV/Dirt/Off-Road Marketplace at Dealer Expo.

Biltrite will be selling six-packs of its Bullitt LED lights to dealers for $275, a show discount of 28 percent. Dealers retail the lights individually for $99 apiece using the supplied counter display. Bullitt LED lights are 2.25 inches in diameter, produce 900 lumens, last 50,000 hours, and draw less than 1 amp.

Christini has upgraded its all-wheel-drive motorcycles for 2013. The lineup includes 250cc and 300cc two-stroke dirtbikes as well as 450cc four-stroke dirtbikes that also come in dual-sport and supermoto versions. The latest models are the Christini AWD 450 Enduro and the AWD 450 Military Edition used by the U.S. military in Afghanistan, now available for retail.

DFK will be showing its new cabs for the Honda Big Red Cab the Can-Am Commander. Both cabs feature a safety glass front windshield with a gas-cylinder-assisted tilt-out function and an electric washer/wiper. DFK’s special for dealers buying cabs at Dealer Expo is free shipping in the lower 48 states.

Dirtfreak’s DRC Fork Seal Driver 40-50 comes with five differently sized plastic adapters that can be used with most conventional and upside-down front forks. Suggested retail is $84.95.

Gates will introduce at the show the G-Force C12 CVT belt, which it claims is the first CVT belt using a carbon tensile cord, combining “minimal stretch with extraordinary strength. Carbon tensile cords provide optimal power transmission resulting in faster acceleration, improved throttle response and consistent shifting performance.”

GMZ, a new company founded by industry veterans, offers several products, like the 28x10-14 Cutthroat tire that fits all stock Polaris XP models without modification. New GMZ aluminum wheels include the black LiteLoc Bead Lock with a bead lock ring available machined, in black or in a custom color.

Hardline Products has two new items. The FenderBench is a 10”x14” work tray that fits onto the fender of any motorcycle, mounting with Velcro strap. It has a handle and separated bins for organizing. MSRP is $29.99. Hardline’s new iMeter Wireless Hour Meter requires no connections and automatically starts and stops with the engine. Its suggested retail is $54.99. (Continued)
