INTERMOT Closes with 200,000 Visitors

ORGANIZERS OF INTERMOT, the international motorcycle held Oct. 8-12 in Germany say the event attracted more than 200,000 visitors from 110 countries.

Reiner Brendicke, General Manager of the German Motorcycle Industry Association (IVM), says trade visitors accounted for around 30 percent of attendees, and said 35 percent of the trade visitors came from outside Germany.

He says a total of 1,068 exhibiting companies from 36 countries participated – 372 of the exhibiting companies came from Germany and 696 came from abroad.
