Italy's 2-wheeler Sales Drop 7% Through July

Sales of motorized two-wheelers in Italy during the first seven months of the year totaled 305,461 units, down 7.01 percent from 328,485 units sold during the same seven-month period in 2007, says Confindustria ANCMA, Italy's trade association for two-wheelers.

Motorcycle sales from January 1 through July 31 totaled 108,307 units, down 10.15 percent from sales of 120,540 units during the comparable period last year; scooter sales totaled 197,154 units, down 5.19 percent. ATV sales totaled 6,874 units, down 16.63 percent.
