DUCATI SAYS it's officially official: the new adventure touring bike also known as the new Multistrada 1200 isn't just a myth or Internet rumor, it's a reality.
Slated to be unveiled at the 2009 EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan, the Multistrada 1200 is a further extension of the OEM's popular model. According to Ducati, the revamped ride has been built to "satisfy the demands of all motorcyclists.
Ducati reports that it "has designed a motorcycle to tackle all kinds of journeys and road surfaces using technology derived from the Bologna made race bikes in MotoGP and World Superbike. From a sportbike for outright excitement to a tourer for long journeys with passenger and luggage, and from an everyday bike which can breeze through the daily commute to an enduro able to tackle off-road routs, the brand new Ducati transforms itself to suit the rider's demands."
The company has even released a sly little sneak peek image of the front of the new model.
