SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The owners of J&L Harley-Davidson know you don’t get to be a Top 100 dealer for 17 years running by just sitting around. They’re buying another store in Fargo, N.D.

Jim Entenman started J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls in 1975. Two generations of the Entenman family – Jim, Lonnie, Jimmy and Joe – mind the family stores, which include Big Sioux Power Sports and Glacial Lakes Harley-Davidson in Watertown, S.D.

The Entenmans will lease the existing site of the renamed Harley-Davidson of Fargo while building a new dealership in the city, with plans to open the new store in May of 2016.

“We are excited and proud to be a part of Fargo,” says Jim Entenman. “It’s a great city full of great people. We can’t wait to get to know them better.”

Most of the staff will remain at the Fargo store as Jimmy or Joe Entenman leads the transition. A few new hires are also expected.

“Our goal is to bring in a bigger selection of products in all our departments, from MotorClothes to parts and accessories to Harley-Davidson Motorcycles on the floor,” said Joe Entenman. “Our biggest commitment to Fargo is our focus on customer service, including more riding events, expanded hours and fresh ideas.”
