The J&P Cycles website (www.jpcycles.com) has enacted Live Chat, allowing people to speak in real time with a customer service or technical service representative.
According to J&P, questions that already have been answered through the service include “What part do I need?” “Will this fit my bike?” and “I placed my order three days ago, what is its status?”
People use Live Chat simply by clicking on the Live Chat button at the top of the home page. They are then prompted to enter their first name, last name, e-mail address and chat selection (customer service, Harley tech or metric tech). The average wait time for a response, the store says, is only 30 seconds.
“Live Chat has greatly exceeded our expectations already,” J&P president John Parham stated in a press release. “Customers have sought assistance regarding fitment of parts, assistance during checkout and order status. Those same customers might not have been able to complete their transactions with J&P had this service not been available.”
Live Chat is available on the site 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.
