Jim's Harley-Davidson to host 23rd toy run Dec. 5


Jim’s Harley-Davidson of St. Petersburg will host its 23rd annual Jim Rosenkrans Memorial Toy Run Dec. 5.

Pre-registration is open online at here through Dec. 3; on-site registration will be open until 9 a.m. the day of the ride. Kickstands go up at the dealership at 10 a.m. Entry fee is one new, unwrapped toy or a $15 donation from each participant.

The Toy Run started in 1979 when current owner Jamie Rosenkrans nd former owner Jim thought it up. It drew 30 bikes that year, but has reached as many as 2,500 people and 1,800 bikes since.

The event has raised over $1 million dollars since its inception, according to the Tampa Bay Weekly.
