Job posting: Aftermarket factory seeks general manager

INDIALANTIC, Fla. -- A company in Northern California is seeking a full-time general manager for factory operations.

The general manager will communicate company principles and ensure business goals are met while serving as leader of the plant, supervising 30 pepole. Duties will include asset management, auditing and compliance, inbound and outbound scheduling, managing costs and safety, hiring and training.

The position requires at least five years of previous operations management experience, particularly with exhaust manufacturing at the OEM or supplier level, and a bachelor's degree in operations management, business management or equivalent. Salary is up to $175,000, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of budgeting and computer technology, including Windchill, Pro E, Microsoft Office and billing and accounts payable software. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated leadership skills and abilites in hiring, evaluation, developing, disciplining and terminating employees.
