INDIALANTIC, Fla. - Recruiting firm Lonski and Associates is looking for qualified candidates for a North America sales manager based in Southern California.
"The North American sales manager works closely with the executive team [and] will drive strategies, initiatives, objectives and processes in an effort to deliver strong sales through existing dealerships and new dealership opportunities," said Jan Plessner of Lonski and Associates.
The employer's identification was not disclosed; however, candidates must reside in Southern California and have past experience in motorcycle OEM sales, Plessner said.
Key responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Strategize, organize and lead the sales team; and operate and control all sales activities for the company with a goal of achieving 10 years of continuous growth;
- Deliver strong sales through existing dealerships and new dealer opportunities;
- Analyze market trends and competitive forces to develop and implement sales programs, policies and business strategies to ensure company growth and profitability; and
- Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least six years of sales management experience for a major motorcycle OEM in North America, Plessner noted. The position requires "extensive" business travel, she said.
The company is looking for candidates that have excellent management and leadership skills, a high level of integrity and commitment to excellence, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, the ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance; the ability to forge strong customer relationships; and advanced interview, prospecting and presentation skills. Candidates also must be passionate about and have a fit and feel for the off-road/MX/dual-sport/streetbike motorcycle market.
