Job of the Week: Service manager for Texas multiline

INDIALANTIC, Fla. - A busy multiline metric dealership in Texas is looking to hire an experienced service manager, according to recruiters at Lonski and Associates.

Ideal candidates should have experience managing between 12 and 20 employees, and be comfortable processing between 700 and more than 1,200 hours of service work per month.

"This is a very busy dealership, and the ideal candidate should have a minimum of five-plus years' experience with a similarly sized service department," according to Paul Dunning, recruiter.

Service writer experience is helpful but not required, according to Dunning. Candidates must have strong motorcycle mechanical aptitude and experience, computer experience, and an ability to multitask and prioritize. Candidates must possess a valid motorcycle license.

Responsibilities range from team and department management, to customer service, managing warranty work and even performing cashier functions if needed.
