Flywheel Trueness — Exposed!
The Jims Flywheel Runout Inspection Gauge tool kit (No. 785) measures the trueness of a flywheel in an engine case. A mechanic mounts the kit to the case to inspect flywheel runout of the pinion shaft. The tool also can be used to check the amount of gear lash on gear-driven cams found in some Twin Cam engines. Finally, in conjunction with the Jims Tire Rotator (No. 936), a mechanic can use the tool to remove any unwanted stress being applied to the flywheel by not rotating the engine with the electric starter motor. The tool kit is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and finished with Jims’ blue anodizing. It comes with detailed instructions.

ATV or Motorcycle, Same Clamps
The Coats RC-150 tire changer allows motorcycle and ATV dealers to change a wide range of tires, up to a fat 300. Motorcycle rim clamps provide extra clearance for sprockets, and they can be used in three positions, allowing the operator to go from an ATV wheel to a motorcycle wheel without changing clamps. The RC-150 can clamp rims ranging in diameter from 6 inches to 23 inches. A bead-loosening system (with a backup system) has a contoured pad for motorcycle tires. The system’s two positions for wide and narrow tires reduce the risk of wheel damage. The RC-150’s retail price is listed as $4,595.
