Kawasaki adds Goad, Fraze, Allen to marcom team

IRVINE, Calif. - Kawasaki Motors Corp. (KMC) has added three new managers to its marketing communications team to oversee brand strategy, brand communications and experiential brand management.

Marketing Director Chris Brull said the group’s structure will provide greater cross-product category representation and assure that all outreach disciplines are coordinated.

KMC hired Sian Goad as brand strategy manager, Katrina Fraze as brand communications manager, and Kevin Allen as PR and experiential brand manager. Goad and Fraze have already assumed their roles at the company’s Irvine headquarters and Allen joins the team at the end of September.

Goad will focus on strategic marketing development and will provide support to specialty programs and interactive planning. Goad was a marketing manager at Ducati, and held positions with Jackson Family Wines and as a social media marketing consultant.

Fraze is an offroad and PWC enthusiast. She worked at Mazda’s advertising agency and with a strategic consulting firm during Fisker Automotive’s formative period. Her primary role at KMC will be in the conception, development and execution of Kawasaki’s brand and product advertising.

Allen most recently was with Pirelli Tire and has broad media relations and event experience in the U.S. and Europe. In addition to PR, he will be responsible for the company’s consumer and corporate events groups which, the company said, are being combined.

The company’s retail/regional marketing efforts continue to be led by Jeff Horton, reporting to Brull, Kawasaki noted.
