SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Kawasaki will bring Times Square flair to Southern California when the OEM invades San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter for a West Coast version of its "Times Square Takeover" held last fall in New York.
The event, from 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 7, is free and open to the public. J Street will be closed from 7th Avenue to 9th Avenue to make room for motorcycle stunt shows, fashion shows, new product displays, a military tribute, meet-and-greets with championship riders, plus big screen TVs and DJs.
While the San Diego venue is smaller than Manhattan's Times Square, it will be full of Kawasaki dealers: the event is being held in conjunction with Kawasaki's national dealer business meeting.
