Kentucky authorities uncover suspected motorcycle chop shop

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. - State Police have found a suspected chop shop operation including two stolen Harley-Davidson motorcycles and “a significant amount” of property that had been reported stolen to several other law enforcement agencies.

Police say one of the bikes was reported stolen to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, and one was reported stolen in Ohio, according to KFVS. Troopers executing a search warrant Jan. 31 also reportedly recovered numerous other motorcycle parts believed to have been removed from other stolen motorcycles.

In addition, Troopers recovered an enclosed trailer that was reported stolen to the Crittenden County Sheriff's Department and stolen furnishings and electronics.

One person was arrested and charged with four felony counts of receiving stolen property. Kentucky State Police say they are continuing the investigation.
