Klim revamps Adventure Rally jacket

Klim’s Adventure Rally jacket and pant return for 2011 with many updates and a new light-gray color option (photos weren’t available at press time). The gear combines Gore-Tex Pro Shell material technologies with “extreme-condition gear construction techniques,” Talisman and Armacor high-abrasion and tear-resistant main body materials, exposed Cordura overlays, integrated d3o armor and high-grade leather applications. Jacket updates:

• brushed-fleece tricot fabric over the inner lining of the top front flap on the left and right sides of the collar
• a collar height reduced 2 cm to minimize contact with the rider and to increase mobility and comfort
• brushed-fleece tricot fabric over the top of the Cordura panel on the top edge of the collar
• added adjustability to the elbow pad pocket up/down, left/right, and a bigger elbow pad pocket so a larger pad can be used if desired
• new second-generation Gore-Tex Lockout Closures
• relocation of the key hook in the left lower pocket to the upper left chest pocket, with the webbing being replaced by a shock cord
• a refined shoulder fit due to reduced volume of the shoulder area
• an additional hang tag
Pant updates:
• Talisman fabric on rear seat panels replaced with Armacor 3L fabric for increased flexibility and improved fit while maintaining durability
• new urethane-coated #8 coil water-resistant YKK zippers, and an external waterproof flap (as done on Traverse pants) in place of Lockout thigh vent intake closures
• incorporated attachment points for Klim suspenders
• adjustable location capabilities for knee pads up/down, left /right
• an additional hang tag
