NEW ORLEANS, La. - The lightweight Overlander 30 pannier system, new from Kriega, offers a frameless-fit strap setup that features two of the company's waterproof and dustproof 15-liter Drypacks.

No rack is required for the Overlander 30. The system attaches to a bike's rear fender via Kriega's Rack Loops anchor points; alloy hook "ladder lock" straps secure the bags. This setup allows for adjustable positioning to find the ideal weight distribution for cargo and rider.

The system can be used by riders using rear fuel tanks. The whole load sits below the seat and slants forward from the rear axle, meaning there's less weight up high, reducing the chance of looping a loaded bike over rocky ground or on a steep ascent, the company says.

Owners of Kriega's Overlander 60 pannier can use the frameless fit kit with two of the bags from their setup in an Overlander 30 configuration.

Other highlights:

  • 30 liter capacity
  • 100 percent waterproof and dustproof
  • 1000D Cordura Drypacks
  • Removable, washable white inner liners
  • Weighs 3.5 lb. total
  • Designed to fit all enduro/MX style bikes
