KYMCO USA, of Spartanburg, S.C. is recalling about 1,700 units of its 2008 model year 70cc and 90cc Mongoose youth ATVs.

Manufactured in Taiwan, the units were sold by KYMCO dealers nationwide from August 2007 through June 2008 for between $1,700 and $2,100.

Registered owners were sent direct mail notification of this recall and asked to contact an authorized KYMCO dealer to schedule a free repair.
