PACOIMA, Calif. -- One person was hospitalized after a shooting in a back room at a motorcycle shop April 1, and another man is in custody.

The shooting happened just before 10 a.m. at Casey’s Cycles. The victim, a shop employee, was shot in the abdomen and arm and was hospitalized. Details of his condition were not immediately available but police said he is expected to survive.

Police say the suspect, reportedly in his 70s, walked into LAPD Foothill Division and turned himself in shortly after the incident. “The suspect walked into the front desk and said, ‘I wanna turn myself in, I just shot someone,'” LAPD Sgt. Lester Freeman told CBS.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from a business dispute, but details were not immediately available.
