The Leatt Corp. one of the major players in motorsports neck protection, has added a number of new employees to its lineup.
Joining the company as Western regional sales manager is Travis Dowthwaite, who will use his business contacts to spread the Leatt word west of the Mississippi and attend many off-road races to work with dealers who sell trackside. Dowthwaite comes to the company after working with 661, Factory Effex and N-Style.
Moving up from his position in Leatt's warehouse for the last three years, Scott Littlejohn is now warehouse manager. In his new role, Littlejohn will oversee the company's receiving, stocking, domestic and international shipping. He will also travel to off-road races in the western U.S. to provide trackside service for Leatt riders and get in a little racing for himself.
New to the company is Paul Lindsey, as Leatt's new Athlete and Media manager. Lindsey is a former pro racer who has raced in 17 different countries and has worked as a race team manager and has managed the careers of individual riders. In his role, Lindsey will travel extensively to Supercross, motocross, GNCC, Endurocross and WORCS races signing new riders and taking care of racers already sponsored by Leatt. He'll also help out with press releases and working with magazine editors.
Rounding out the expanded team is Teri Lynn (formerly Gorrell), who is Leatt's new Eastern regional sales manager. Lynn is an off-road and road racer who has worked as a product specialist for Icon, media relations manager for Scorpion Sports and served as staff sergeant in the Marine Corps. The company says that it is happy to have Lynn's skill, professionalism and dedication to safety out working with reps and dealers east of the Mississippi.
