Liberty Harley-Davidson Plays Starring Role in Airport Promotion


An Ohio Harley-Davidson dealer is playing a major role in a promotion for a new nonstop air route between Akron and Milwaukee, Wis., by offering the use of an H-D bike for a year.

Liberty Harley-Davidson in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, will provide the bike to the winner of the upcoming “Milwaukee Mancation and Harley-Davidson Giveaway” contest, which begins Feb. 1 and ends at midnight Feb. 26.. To enter, contestants will complete a short questionnaire at about why they or their favorite man should win the year with the bike and a vacation package. (The contest The winner must be 21 years of age or older. Other rules and restrictions will apply.)

The complete “Mantastic Mancation” contest prize includes airfare for two to Milwaukee, a two-night hotel stay March 5-7, tickets to the March 6 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Milwaukee Bucks game, and a tour of a Milwaukee Brewery.

The contest is to promote the new SkyWest Airlines/AirTran Airways route between Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) from Akron-Canton Airport (CAK).

The airport and Liberty threw an H-D-themed party complete with motorcycles and a biker breakfast for passengers on the first flight Jan. 5.

The new flights also connect into AirTran Airways' growing hub at MKE, allowing for easy connections to cities like Minneapolis/St. Paul, Denver and Las Vegas as well as easy ground transport to Chicago.
