Users of the LightspeedNXT will soon be able to e-mail directly out of the system’s Parts, Sales and Service modules.
A new e-mail integration tool will allow dealers to send invoices, updates on service, receipts and purchase orders in electronic messages directly out of LightspeedNXT. Dealers will have the ability to set up system preferences for populating data into form e-mails and selecting the auto populating fields. These fields will pull in the customers’ information (name, invoice number, unit information) automatically.
“E-mail integration truly improves dealers’ ability to communicate effectively and quickly with their customers,” Kris Denos, R&D director for ADP Lightspeed, stated in a press release. “With immediate communication linked to actions performed in NXT, such as closing a repair order, and the ability to send invoices electronically, dealers can improve customer service and responsiveness drastically.”
E-mail integration will be included with the purchase of LightspeedNXT and will be available to dealers already on the system for download in version 3.9.1 due for release in November. System preferences must be set to enable e-mail communication.
