PALMETTO, Fla. – You may not be able to buy your way into the afterlife, but you can buy a plot in "Biker Heaven."

The Skyway Memorial Gardens cemetery in Palmetto has opened a "Bikers Only" section offering plots from between $5,000 and $100,000. The cemetery announced the section on Sept. 15 with a bike show featuring a $500 top prize.

Nancy Palacious, a marketing representative with Florida Full Throttle Magazine, came up with the idea and pitched it to Tracey Beale, general manager of Skyway Memorial Gardens.

"We have sections for Jewish, Catholics and Christians and Nancy thought: 'Why not bikers?'" Beale told the Bradenton Herald

Bikers can get an angel on a motorcycle monument or have a picture of themselves on their bike etched in black granite, or even have their bike buried in a vault with them. Skyway Memorial, which opened in 1952, will work with enthusiasts on custom bike monuments or benches.
