Lojack Corp. has announced its annual list of "hot" stolen vehicle recoveries across the country, including a motorcycle recovery that uncovered a chop shop.

In that case, the owner of a 2008 Yamaha bike discovered it missing and immediately reported it to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

“Within minutes, officers picked up the silent LoJack signal and located the stolen bike parked in a residential garage in Las Vegas,” the company says. “The Auto Theft Task Force responded with a search warrant and located not only the stolen Yamaha, but two other stolen bikes, as well as a stolen [PWC] and trailer - all in only 64 minutes. Three suspects were taken into custody and booked into Clark County Jail.”

Other recoveries included fraudulent credit card use, a carjacking, and theft of a car targeted for parts.
