GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – Longhorn Harley-Davidson will fight hunger and help senior citizens in the community with its 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off Jan. 18.

Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded for the top three places, people’s choice and best presentation. The event drew 26 competing teams last year.

The dealership has a different themed event every month and uses them to help local charities as a way to give back to the community. Proceeds this month will go to the Midlothian Senior Citizens Food Bank, which offers a variety of services and recreational activities to anyone aged 50 and older for a $5 annual membership fee.

Some of the center's activities include free morning snacks and lunch daily, bingo and board games, arts & crafts, computers, musical entertainment and field trips to area museums, parks and movies.
