WATERTOWN, N.Y. - FX Caprara has bought the Iron Block Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership in Watertown’s Adams Center, the buyer announced on its Twitter feed and Facebook page today.

The renamed FX Caprara Harley Davidson (the “Thunder of the Thousand Islands”) has yet to announce the date for its official grand opening, but the store has reopened after a brief closure on June 8.

“Please visit us in Adams Center as we are gearing up, stocking our shelves with chrome and apparel, and filling the floor with all new motorcycles,” the announcement said. “Be sure to watch for our grand opening coming soon.”

The Caprara group bought the dealership, off exit 42 from Interstate 81, from Erik J. Dunk. The group has long operated powwersports store Caprara Brothers Honda and FX Caprara Trailer Sales, as well as a network of Watertown area car dealerships spanning the Fiat, Ford, VW, Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep, Chevrolet, and Kia brands.
