Loren Snyder has been elected the new chairman of the Board of the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA).
ORBA is a national trade association composed of off-road related businesses united to promote common goals that support the prosperity and growth of the off-road industry.
Snyder was one of the original founders of Pro Comp Suspension in 1989. Pro Comp is globally recognized as a leader in engineering, manufacturing, marketing and wholesale distribution of suspension systems, shock absorbers and accessories for light trucks, SUVs and 4x4s. The company is based in San Diego, Calif. and operates with an employee count upwards of 200 people.
Snyder was elected to the position at the April meeting of the ORBA board of directors.
"Along with my commitment to the business side of the sport of off-roading, I had as well originally joined up with ORBA to assure families today, as well as future generations, will have the best shot possible to continue enjoying the sport we love," Snyder says. "I look forward to continuing to work with ORBA management, my fellow board members and colleagues to assure our best chance of maintaining a strong industry and years of enjoyment to families who share in the same off-road passion."
Rocky Trevino, of Cycle Parts West, is the outgoing chairman of the Board. Fred Wiley, executive director of ORBA, commented: "I would like to thank Rocky for his hard work and dedication to this organization, especially the tireless hours he put in while planning and helping run our ORBA SuperShows."
