CHARLESTON S.C. – Hundreds of riders are expected to converge on Low Country Harley-Davidson Sept. 8 for the fifth Goodwill Undy 500, a 100-mile ride benefitting homeless and struggling veterans in South Carolina.

The ride stops at Goodwill retail stores along the route and ends with an after-party at Red’s Ice House at Bohicket.

Registration begins at Low Country Harley-Davidson at 9:30 a.m., with a kickoff ceremony and a blessing of the bikes at 11 a.m. Registration fee is $20 per person plus a new package of undergarments; the fee covers food, ride, entrance to the after-party, door prizes and a chance to win the grand prize of $500.

Proceeds will go toward events and programs designed to support local veterans, including the Veteran Affairs/Goodwill Annual Stand Down Against Homelessness.
