MAG brands launch online training effort


The Motorsport Aftermarket Group (MAG) was at each of its brands’ booths promoting Powersports University — — its new training website. Currently covering Performance Machine, Progressive Suspension, Renthal and Vance & Hines, the 10- to 12-minute online courses are designed to teach product knowledge, brand history, and display and sales techniques. Additional courses are being added weekly. The free interactive courses are geared for everyone from dealership personnel to industry sales reps. Students complete all the courses via Powersports University’s online Learning Management System, which plans, tracks and quantifies a student’s progress within a chosen curriculum or set of selected courses. Students can enroll in the courses and earn manufacturer incentives on the “Earn As U Learn” portion of the website.
