IRVINE, Calif. - The Motorcycle Industry Council has elected Steve Menneto, Larry Little and Sarah Schilke to its board of directors. Each will serve a two-year term.
Menneto is vice president-motorcycles for Polaris. This is his first term on the MIC board. Little, vice president and general manager for Marketplace Events' Motorcycle Group, and Schilke, marketing and public relations manager for Schuberth North America, are returning to the board.
The MIC board has 12 directors, six of which are elected. The remaining six are appointed by the MIC's member manufacturers and distributors that pay market share dues to the association.
The 2014 board includes Hans Blesse of BMW Motorrad USA, Steve Bortolamedi of Suzuki Motor America Inc., Russ Brenan of Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA, Jon-Erik Burleson of KTM North America Inc., Don Emde of Don Emde Inc., Frank Esposito of Kendon Industries Inc., Robert Gurga of American Honda Motor Co., Steve Johnson of Tucker Rocky (retired) and Dennis McNeal of Yamaha Motor Corp. USA.
