STURTEVANT, Wis. - BRP is taking it to the shore and the streets for its annual Evinrude dealer meeting and a public block party to show off its watersports side.
BRP will kick off its dealer meeting, called "Club," at 7:30 p.m. June 13 on the Lake Michigan shoreline in Milwaukee for new product reveals, business seminars, a tour of the Sturtevant campus, boatbuilder partner showcases and a firsthand look at BRP's latest innovations for the marine industry.
"We already know our dealers are our best brand ambassadors," said Alain Villemure, vice president and general manager of BRP's marine propulsion systems division. "With this event, we get to show them our appreciation by offering a completely new range of products and an unforgettable entertainment experience right here in our backyard, the birthplace of the outboard engine."
BRP is inviting the public to participate in Club Evinrude 2014 on June 14. BRP will host a free public block party on Old World Third Street. The event starts with lunch at noon, followed by music and entertainment at 3 p.m. through 11 p.m. June 15. The public is welcome at the Wisconsin Center to see product demonstrations and booths with pro bass anglers, fishing and boating experts and a wide range of goodies from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
BRP invested $15 million in its Evinrude campus in 2011 to regroup all its R & D, procurement, marketing and aftersales activities.
