Mishimoto offerings stand the heat

Over in the Racing & Performance marketplace, Mishimoto will be displaying new radiator products. Its latest dirtbike radiator is for the 2004-to-2009 Honda CRF250R/CRF250X, and is made of aluminum for 30 percent greater cooling efficiency over stock. The radiator is TIG-welded for durability, and offers a direct OEM fit.

For the CRF450R there are silicone radiator hoses, which are made of high-grade silicone and heat-resistant embedded fibers. Hoses allow for increased pressure tolerance and efficient heat reduction and come in a variety of colors, the company says.

For the Yamaha YZ450F/WR450F, Mishimoto offers a braced aluminum radiator, with built-in corner bracing for durability. Like the Honda radiator, this one offers 30 percent greater cooling efficiency and is designed as a direct OEM fit.

Also worth checking out: Temperature Gauge radiator caps, and Heat Defense heat protective tape. The former produces increased pressure tolerance, while the Heat Defense tape helps protect sensitive instruments from high temperatures up to 675 degrees.
