MADISON, Wis. - Moose Racing has officially stepped up its sport-touring options with two new waterproof apparel lines: Monarch Pass and Expedition, as well as additional hard parts for adventure-touring motorcycles.

The Monarch Pass collection is Moose’s top-of-the-line offering and includes a jacket, pants and two glove styles. The lighter weight Expedition line has a jacket, pants, vest and gloves. Moose representatives debuted the new lines to dealers gathered for the Parts Unlimited National Vendor Presentation held last weekend in Madison.

The Monarch Pass jacket ($399.95-439.95) is constructed of Moose’s HDWB (Highly Durable Waterproof Breathable) nylon shell. It has D3O armor in the shoulders, elbows and back, reflective badging, a removable insulated vest, venting and a waterproof map pocket.

The Monarch Pass pants ($299.95-$329.95) are made of the same nylon shell and have D3O armor in the hips and knees. A zip-off bib bridges any gaps between the pants and jacket while riding.

The Monarch Pass collection also includes the short glove ($34.95) and long glove ($44.95). Both are waterproof and insulated.

The Expedition collection is similar to the Monarch Pass, but with a lighter design and more casual riding in mind. The jacket ($174.95-$189.95), pants ($149.95-$169.95) and vest ($79.95) are all made with the same nylon shell as the Monarch Pass collection.

Moose Racing also has new adventure-touring parts for motorcycles. Centerstands ($142.95-$243.95) have hardened fasteners, double springs, and independent mounting plates. Engine guards ($349.95-$445.95) are powdercoated black and protect the engine, side panels, shrouds and tanks.
