More than 350 registered for Armed Forces Freedom Ride

MT. EPHRIAM, N.J. – Registration has been opened for the 7th Annual Armed Forces Freedom Ride scheduled for May 19 and starting at Barb’s Harley-Davidson.

So far more than 350 people have registered for the event, which starts at 7 a.m. Kickstands will be up at 10 a.m. 

Riders from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas will take a police-escorted ride with local military from the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

Information is available at, along with registration forms for those who wish to ride. Vendor and sponsor forms are available on the site, and vendor forms must be returned my May 13 for this year’s event.

Riders will pay a $30 donation per person in advance, or $40 each on site. Registration includes the ride plus a BBQ lunch and event pin. 

All makes and models are welcome in the ride.

Riders will ride their bikes down the fightline and onto Doughboy Field for the barbecue, music, vendors and ceremonies. All of the proceeds from the ride will go to the Burlington County Military Affairs Committee and Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation of Philadelphia.
