SAN CARLOS, Calif. - Motion Pro today announced a new Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy that will become effective Sept. 1.

"In order to protect the Motion Pro brand as a premium offering and preserve the company’s reputation for providing customers with quality products, best in class support, and protect the company’s competitiveness in the marketplace and the image of its products, Motion Pro is unilaterally adopting a Minimum Advertised Price Policy (MAP) for Motion Pro products," the company announced.

The new MAP policy will apply to all distributors and retailers, including online retailers, that resell Motion Pro products to end users located in the United States. It will be uniformly enforced, the company noted.

“We believe that this policy is fair for all customers and will help to protect the value of our products and our brand for everyone involved,” said Brandon Baldwin, sales and marketing director for Motion Pro.
