FULLERTON, Calif. – Motocross enthusiasts can get another look at the sports history series “The Motocross Files” (MXF) starting Oct. 4 as MAVTV begins re-airing seasons one, two and three.

Season one's inaugural show profiles "Bad Brad" Lackey, America's first World Champion and only 500cc World Champion when he concluded a 10-year quest to win that title.

Developed and originally aired in the fall of 2005 on Speed, more than 21 episodes have been produced to date. Many believe MXF broke new ground with sports documentary storytelling with high production values, a theatrical music score and 3D animated photographs.

“Lucas Oil believed in this show back in 2005 and it is great to see it come full circle and air on MAVTV. I am excited to bring the series to our growing viewership of motorcycle enthusiasts with people that love telling a great story," says Jason Patison, programming director for MAVTV.

MAVTV will begin airing all 21 episodes of MXF at 2:30 and 5:30 a.m. EST Oct. 4 and then every Friday at the same times. MAVTV is in more than 27 million households on DirecTV (Ch. 214), Dish Network (Ch. 248), Comcast, Time Warner, Charter and other cable networks.

Pipeline Digital Media (PDM) producer/director Todd Huffman believes there are even more great motocross stories out there to tell. "We have been blessed to get to know these motocross legends and bring their inspiring and emotional stories to the viewers," he said.
