Motor Trike Spartan offers independent suspension for Softail conversions

TROUP, Texas -- The Spartan  from Motor Trike offers independent suspension conversion for Harley-Davidson Softails 1994 to the present.

The Spartan is the twelfth IRS conversion offered by Motor Trike, and fits the Heritage Softail, Heritage Softail Classic, Softail Deluxe and Fatboy. It will be on display Aug. 2-10 at the Motor Trike booth at the corner of 8th and Lazelle streets in Sturgis.

Selling points: The Spartan incorporates Harley's tail lights and includes Motor Trike’s patented air-ride suspension along with 4 inches of suspension travel. It also features a four-cubic-foot trunk with hidden hinges, and a 12-volt outlet and light on the inside.

The Spartan features an on-board air-compressor, progressive coil over shocks, integrated disc brakes and a belt drive. It also uses the stock exhaust.

Options: Include fender bras, parking brake, ABS integration, trailer with hitch assembly and wiring harness, carpets and mats for a trunk, mechanical or electric reverse, trike cover, chrome fender trim and color-match paint.
