Motorcycle-Superstore.com, has added a new department to cater to adventure touring riders.
Most motorcycle gear retailers segregate product offerings into the “street” or “dirt” categories, Motorcycle-Superstore.com created the new category to make it easier for shoppers to find appropriate gear.
“Adventure Touring riders are a large and growing part of the motorcycling community,” says Greg Anderson, Motorcycle-Superstore.com’s merchandising manager. “With the specialized equipment dual-sport riders require, it was a no-brainer to create a department just for them.”
For example, rather than sifting through hundreds of street helmets to find the handful of dual-sport specific models, weigh the pros and cons of luggage designed for road touring machines or dirt-bike off-road packs, track down waterproof street jackets and match them with dirt bike motocross boots, shoppers can find adventure touring and dual-sport specific gear in one place.
