BAXTER SPRINGS, Kan. – Three certified mechanics have struck out on their own to open a new motorcycle repair and service shop.

Danny Fleming, Aaron Puffinbarger and Steve Winchester have opened D-N-A Performance Cycles. Puffinbarger is a former instructor at the Fort Scott Community College Harley-Davidson technician program and Fleming is a graduate. Fleming told the Cherokee County News-Advocate they will work on all makes of motorcycles and ATVs, and hope to have used bikes for sale soon.

The shop opened in November and has plenty of work lined up, but the owners plan a grand opening for April 20.
