DENVER, Colo. - MotoTV has announced that the cable TV network Speed will provide motorcycle racing highlights for the MotoTV network, which MotoTV claims plays on more than 800 screens in 125 powersports retailers nationwide with an audience of more than 6.2 million motorcycle enthusiasts.
Speed will provide race recaps from selected series that air on its network, including AMA Supercross, AMA Superbike and World Superbike events.
“The race recaps from Speed are a huge hit with dealers and their customers,” said Gary Halpin, co-founder of MotoTV. “MotoTV is a proven success for dealers in the form of increased sales and also with content producers and advertisers who want to reach this highly targeted audience.”
Speed’s Mark Mitchell said: “MotoTV offers us a unique opportunity to get more involved with our two-wheel audience, promoting increased awareness of our races and programming. MotoTV is growing rapidly, and we are excited to be able to partner with them.”
MotoTV is a customizable television network that airs on screens inside powersports dealerships. Programming is provided by Speed, Red Bull, Racer X Films, and many other content providers, and is intercut with industry-related advertising and dealer-specific programming and promotions. Dealers can personalize MotoTV to air only the products and services they carry.
