Drift Innovation, maker of the Drift HD wearable camera, announced this week that MTA Distributing is now its wholesale powersports distributor for the U.S.

The new Drift HD features an integrated LCD screen, a wireless remote control, a 300-degree rotating lens and a 170-degree field of view with 1080p/30 fps and 720p/60 fps high-definition video settings.

“Partnering with MTA will undoubtedly increase awareness and brand recognition for Drift in the U.S. market,” said John Rounds, Drift’s North American director. “MTA has a dedicated team and great reps in the field to support the Drift brand and MTA retailers.”

In 2011, MTA is celebrating their 30th anniversary in business. MTA represents 147 different brands and has offices and warehouses strategically located in powersports regions of California, Ohio, Louisiana and South Carolina to best accommodate dealers nationwide. The Drift HD is the first point-of-view camera MTA has carried.

“I’m very excited with the recent addition of Drift to the MTA line of products,” said Brent Gunter, MTA’s purchasing manager. “Drift offers high-quality products at a great value that we know our dealers will appreciate.”
