THREE RIVERS, Mass. — Custom bike enthusiasts can view Mustang Motorcycle Products' Perewitz signature series at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

New England bike customizer Dave Perewitz will display several of his creations in the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show area, including a Pro Street Bagger with a Mustang seat, as well as an all-new 2013 Custom FL Bagger featuring a Perewitz Signature Seat by Mustang. Dave's daughter Jody will bring her Bonneville record-setting bike to New York, and artist Eric Herrmann will unveil his new painting of her.

“The painting is 22”x28” — I can’t wait to see it in person,” Jody Perewitz said in the Mustang press statement. “Eric and my dad will both be in the Team J’witz booth, along with my race bike.”

“We are working closely with Dave and Jody Perewitz on the upcoming line of Signature Seats... the ones on display are pre-production prototypes, but they might give you an idea where we are going with these designs,” said Mustang Marketing Director Marilyn Simmons. “More details will follow in a couple months for the Perewitz seats, but if you can’t wait, we will also be showing off our Custom Seat Program, which gives you the opportunity to design your own seat.”

The seat design process can be done online by picking a style of seat and stitch pattern. Plain, tuck and roll or diamond stitch options are available. Next, pick a color. Users can see how the seat will look with each step.

“There are nearly endless permutations of stitching options, insert colors and 15 contrasting thread colors alone,” Simmons said. “We are starting with three of our most popular models: Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper.”
