VARESE, Italy – MV Agusta is paying homage to 15-time World Champion Giacomo Agostini with its latest replica, the F3 800 AGO.
Only 300 models are being produced, and each one comes with a numbered plaque on the steering yoke as well as Agostini’s autograph on the tank. A certificate, also signed by Agostini, will be included.
The F3 800 AGO will be available to U.S. dealers in late June or early July, and it will retail for $24,598, the company said.
The model includes MV Agusta’s MVICS (Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System). Riders can choose from three preset power options and eight traction control settings. The system also allows the ratio between the throttle twist and the throttle body opening to be adjusted.
MV Agusta says the F3 800 AGO is designed for the track as much as the street thanks to the ABS Bosch 9MP with Race Mode and the RLM system, which prevents the rear wheel from lifting off the ground under hard braking. Said braking comes courtesy of 320mm front discs and 220 rear discs and Brembo monobloc four-piston calipers up front.
