SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. – A local family has branched into powersports by opening a Polaris dealership alongside one of its five auto parts stores.
Heilbrun’s Power Sports opened its doors last week alongside Heilbrun’s NAPA Auto Parts store.
“We got the showroom put together earlier this week,” owner Ted Heilbrun told the Star-Herald. “We’ve got a sign up and we’re ready to sell.”
In the future, Heilbrun said, they might consider expanding from ATVs and SSVs to carry Victory Motorcycles and GEM cars. Four people have been hired to staff the dealership and Heilbrun said more jobs will be available as the business expands.
The company is building a test-drive track. “The track will be the only one in Scottsbluff,” Heilbrun Power Sports co-owner Janice Brown said. “We’re going to create a power sports destination.”
The company will announce a holiday open house on their website.
