ANAMOSA, Iowa - The National Motorcycle Museum will hold a Vintage Rally June 3-5 in Anamosa, Iowa.
A number of vintage motorcycling events are scheduled for the weekend, including a vintage bike show and competition, seminars on collecting vintage vehicles, a “Motorcycles at Work” exhibit, a Wall of Death show, and autograph sessions by past National Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame inductees.
The bike show will hand out 75 awards in various classes. It is open to vintage street, competition, custom and mini motorcycles model-year 1985 or earlier, according to Jeff Carstensen, director of the museum.
Sunday activities will include a morning ride and lunch, hosted by Motorcycle Classics magazine, and the 62nd Annual Motorcycle Hill Climb and Swap Meet to be held “down the road and across the Wapsipinicon River” from the museum.
Sunday's events will include the Vintage Hill Climb with a $500 cash purse awarded by the museum and J&P Cycles.
