DEALER EXPO, Indianapolis, Ind. -- Not that long ago, it was tough to find apparel that was designed specifically for women. Now, the available options just keep growing for both riding and casual lines.
Plenty of companies are introducing new women’s apparel at Dealer Expo, like these standouts:
Corazzo Design (Booth 1034): The Adventura utility jacket (which is so new that the name may not even stick) and the textile Brezzi have full zip-out linings, adjustable waists and reflective piping. (See image, right)
First Manufacturing Co., Inc. (Booth 1225): The top seller in the Classic line, the Star jacket has embroidered reflective stars on the front and back. The black leather jacket is quadruple-stitched, has zippered vents on the back and arms, and includes a full zip-out liner.
FLY Racing (Booth 883B): FLY Racing’s Spring 2013 collection includes the women’s Moto Love tee in red, white and gray. The Halftone Cami, with teal and pink options, features the FLY logo and retails for $25.95.
Liberty Wear (Booth 1532): Made in the U.S.A., this casual apparel line is all for the ladies with tees, hoodies, tanks and dresses. There are motorcycle-specific designs, like the new Ride On tee. Sizing goes all the way to XXXL.
Roland Sands Design (Booth 813): RSD’s women’s line debuts this weekend with the leather Maven and the waxed cotton Vada. There is plenty of casual apparel, too, and they will have a full line by the fall.
Scorpion Sports (Booth 925): Match from head to toe in three color- and design-coordinated ensembles, including the new R2000 premium helmet. Scorpion’s revamped line includes an updated take on the popular Dahlia design. (See image.)
Throttle Threads (Booth 1234): Ladies shopwear in customizable plaid work shirts, thermal hoodies and the Contrast Shop Shirt (now in pink!).
Unik International (Booth 1345): The new Vintage Leather line features dark brown leather with classic styling in both a vest and jacket, and is an alternative to the traditional black leather. Unik also offers women’s concealed carry vests.
