LINCOLN, Neb. - Indian Motorcycle Lincoln will host a demonstration event Sept. 7 and 8, but customers just can’t wait: the dealer says it has 40 of the new bikes presold.
Polaris rolled out the new 2014 Indian Chiefs to much fanfare Aug. 3 at the annual rally in Sturgis, S.D.
The dealership had to move from an outlet mall in Gretna that was set for demolition at the end of December and wound up remodeling a former Quizno’s sub shop as its new store.
Keeping the doors open during renovations has been challenging, but necessary to keep the franchise. But the new store is one of the first in the country to get the marque’s new design, lighting and trade dress, general manager Justin Vandevort told the Lincoln Journal Star.
