Boss Hoss Cycles has announced its 2008 line of bikes and trikes, including the BHC-3 LS2, the newest addition to the Boss Hoss line.
All 2008 model Boss Hoss bikes and trikes are fed by electronic fuel injection controlled by a Delphi electronic control module (ECM), and fitted with a redesigned catalytic exhaust system to meet all current EPA and CARB emissions standards.
For added comfort, the 2008 model trikes will be offered with an optional Air Ride suspension system produced by Legend Air Suspension exclusively for Boss Hoss. The once-optional Brembo rear disc brake system is now standard equipment on all trikes. The new models became available Sept. 1.
Boss Hoss unveiled the LS2 at the Sturgis Bike Rally in August. It?s 364 cubic inches and has a low seat height and short wheelbase, much like 2007?s Super Sport model. This LS2 will replace the big block 502 hp going out of production due to 2008 emissions regulations. It is 235 lbs lighter than the big block, and is 6.0 liters instead of the big block's 8.2 liters to achieve the best horsepower-to-weight ratio.
