FORT MORGAN, Colo. – The shop may be new, but the staff are old hands at fixing and customizing old bikes.

Westside Customs Motorcycle Shop opened in August under the experienced team of brothers Steve and Terry Myers and friend Scott Sweet.

Sweet studied at the Harley-Davidson school in Orlando, Fla., and spent 10 years as a Harley double-master mechanic. Steve Myers formerly worked at a Harley store in Indiana and has trained as a machinist. The partners are also members of the ABATE and Steve is a road captain for the organization, according to the Fort Morgan Times

The Myers brothers also spent time in their father’s auto parts store, which closed when he retired recently.

Their new store offers repair, service, customization, parts and bike storage. They hope to hold a grand opening this spring.
