Panama City Beach, Fla., is in line for a new Harley-Davidson dealership, and the owner has received a permit to start construction.
Ken Thorndyke, a city building official, says the permit was issued last month for a dealership on U.S. 98; the land already has been cleared and construction fencing has gone up, according to the Walton Sun.
The dealership owners have been resubmitting plans to the city for three years because of various city code changes, Thorndyke says.
“They now have an active building permit and are approved for construction,” he says.
